Energy to empower cells that contribute to the natural healing process
At the end of 1990, research on cells have shown that the wavelength of near infrared light can increase the activity of the mitochondria. This captivated the intrest of researchers from NASA, who had hoped that this would be the perfect technique for treatment of astronauts in space. In such conditions it is much more difficult to heal injuries in space, then on the ground. This is probably due to decreased activity of the mitochondria in space.
L.E.D. light helps in the production of ATP thereby causing the cell to have more energy. This in turn means that the cell is in the optimum position to play its role in the natural healing process.
