At the meeting, the three-year action plan for promoting high-end medical equipment and biomedical industry chain high-quality development of Suzhou high tech Zone (2021-2023) was issued, a series of projects were signed and the "medpark" brand of Taihu medical valley was officially released. Five main directions of the three year action plan

The three-year action plan of Suzhou high tech Zone to promote the high-quality development of high-end medical devices and biomedical industry chain (2021-2023) identifies five main directions: high-end medical devices, innovative drugs, cutting-edge diagnosis and treatment technology, public health emergency management system support industry, and industry chain supporting service system industry. Through the implementation of "ten tasks" such as fast leading projects and enterprise recruitment, cultivation of "chain owner" enterprises in the industrial chain, acceleration of construction investment in key industrialization projects, acceleration of innovation achievement transformation, improvement of collaborative innovation level in the industrial chain, and continuous strengthening of financial capital support, the "three major projects" of industrial agglomeration, innovation driven promotion, and industrial ecological optimization have been completed.

Among them, around the main direction of high-end medical devices and biomedicine, focus on the world's top 500, global industry leading enterprises and flagship projects, and strive to introduce 100 major projects in three years, including no less than 25 leading enterprises and flagship projects. Within three years, the region will strive to introduce no less than 200 new medical field leaders, add no less than 12 provincial engineering technology research centers, no less than 4 enterprise technology centers above the provincial level, no less than 7 new Unicorn cultivation enterprises, and more than 100 national high-tech enterprises. We will strive to add four new listed companies in the field of medical devices and biomedicine by 2023.

At the meeting, the Management Committee of Suzhou high tech Zone signed contracts with five strategic cooperation organizations, including China Medical Device Industry Association, China Society of Biomedical Engineering, and China Medical Equipment Association, 10 industrialization projects, including Boston science and Yuyue medical, 10 scientific and technological innovation projects, including Kangqi intelligence and Haoben biology, and with Yunfeng fund and Sequoia Capital and other 10 investment institutions signed contracts.

In addition, five banks signed contracts with five medical device enterprises to carry out "medical loan" project cooperation. It is understood that in order to further strengthen the support of science and technology finance for the medical device industry, in December 2020, Suzhou high tech Zone took the lead in launching the innovative product of science and technology finance "medical loan" in China. Through the establishment of a city district linkage fund risk compensation mechanism, enterprises can also obtain a maximum loan of 3 million yuan without sales and mortgage guarantee. Through the discount of loans at the municipal and district levels, "financial medical loan" does not exceed the benchmark interest rate of the same period. Previously, there were 21 credit enterprises with the loan amount of nearly 40 million yuan. Recently, the second batch of cooperative banks have been added to the expansion of "financial medical loan", with the available amount reaching 250 million yuan.
